Ngara Yura site visit: Holsworthy Military Area

The Holsworthy Military Area in Sydney southwest, sits on the land of the Tharawal. Referred to as "Sydney's Kakadu", this land contains artwork, archaeological sites, sacred trees, and artefacts. Within this restricted area there are more than 500 significant sites, including campsites, tool-making sites, engravings and rock art. These cultural treasures stretch back thousands of years.
